Catch-up with what's happening at A. Interior Decor and the Industry! 

While furniture sales has been on the decline since May and most categories in the industry... "Gas stations posted the greatest overall increase, up 4% in May. Food and beverage stores were up 1.2%; food services and drinking places rose 0.7%; and sporting goods, hobby, musical instrument and book stores grew at a rate of 0.4%".

What We’re Up To

I hope we are all excited about summer!

I would like to start by saying Thank You! for subscribing to A. Interior Décor.

We are happy to have made it past the first half of this year. All in the mist of today’s social & economic climate, there is still a lot to celebrate and a lot to be thankful for.

We’ve reached some pleasantly interesting milestones; some more challenging than others to attain but non-the-less, attained.

We were proud and excited to become a Verified Merchant on Pinterest early this year. This was one of the most of challenges due to their high merchant standards -which only made us better. This milestone opened up and casted a wider net for Us thus giving our customers another platform to shop A. Interior Decor Home Accents... That small Blue Check by your name means something.

We have since, also partnered with Shop Pay and PayPal to offer customers more shopping flexibility.  

We have also added a Buy Button to Our Official Website (ainteriordecor.com) making it convenient for customers to shop from the Official Website or go directly to the store. We are always striving to create an awesome shopping experience for our customers! 

We'll conclude with a small announcement because, at  A. Interior Decor, we celebrate even the smallest of milestones!  We are pleased to say that A. Interior Decor Home Accents has most recently been recognized by Facebook, earning 2  badges, for it's adding of useful information about our

products & business.

We are all about positivity and keeping morale up through these times... we are looking forward to the next half of this year. 

 

OUR INDUSTRY OUTLOOK

Troubling Times in the Industry

Inflation will continue to be a significant factor for the second half of this year.

At the start of the pandemic, we all went crazy shopping making home as comfortable and as cheerful as possible since much of our time was spent there due to Covid. We upgraded the comfort levels of our homes and home offices and in some instances, forced to create a home office to accommodate working from home.

Well, consumer demand has taken a dive. Inflation has settled in and on the rise as well as commodities. Adding icing on to the cake, are the setbacks of shipping/delivery of customer goods.

The month of May was deemed a bad month creating order cancellations and very impatient customers, and rightfully so. As we are seeing across the board with plenty of empty stock shelves, the clearance issues at customs and while Mexico is gaining its place in the market, we are seeing the same issues at customs there to. Getting products to customers has been challenging.

A. Interior Décor is continuing to collaborate with our vendors so that we can meet the needs of our customers when it comes to affordability and availability.
